All products are made using traditional techniques. We allow plenty of time for fermenting the bread dough ensuring all the breads develop great flavours naturally.
Breads
- Spelt: 100% wholemeal spelt bread with no wheat ingredients. Normally made as grain bread for the market containing sunflower seed, linseed and sesame seed.
- Sourdough (pain au levain): using a mix of white, whole wheat and whole rye flours this bread has no commercial yeast. It uses both a white wheat starter and a rye starter
- Sourdough with grains: based on a white wheat starter and containing a generous helping of sunflower seed, linseed and sesame seed., this bread is intensely flavoured.
- Rye sourdough: about half organic rye meal and the rest white bread flour. The rich flavour of rye flour is enhanced by building it all into a sourdough starter.
